Text
Awakening II
With ease gentle bliss
Willow's arms bear the mist
Wakened peacefully
With day's first hello
Wake up bleak valley, bask in glory
Wake up dark meadow
Breath in brand new day
Making its way
Bursting through with pastel sky.
Flowers sway
Gently in the meadow
Raise their heads
To sip sunshine perched on limb
A robin sings with glee
Glad to be flying free
Cloaked in light and gentle breeze
Vibrant day's ecstasy
Creatures feast
On the lustrous fruits of the meadow
Lively springs mirroring
Phosphorescent glow
‘Til at last waving goodbye
Light of day fades away
Twilight sky sneaks in from the west
Day's sun finally rests
Willow's arms droop in silence
Songbird longs for
Another joyful jubilant tune
Deer stands stoically
Hoping to soon see the moon
Distant stars still too far to see
Make their way so leisurely
Crimson sky though try with all its might
Darkness wins the fight
Yet in air still lingering
Perfumed scents and
Everlasting brilliance
