Text
2020 is here
time to start a new year
at first it was fun
then it begun
covid-19
we thought we could brush it off
thought it was only a slight cough
thought it wasn't deadly enough
we were mistaken
family members didn't make it
2020, hate it
but 2021 is what we make it
no more death
bring back school
I'm tired of sitting home with nothing to do
all I can do is eat food
and maybe watch tv
but it's not fun for me
I wanna see my family
I just hope 2021 is there for me
so I can see my people
time to start a new year
at first it was fun
then it begun
covid-19
we thought we could brush it off
thought it was only a slight cough
thought it wasn't deadly enough
we were mistaken
family members didn't make it
2020, hate it
but 2021 is what we make it
no more death
bring back school
I'm tired of sitting home with nothing to do
all I can do is eat food
and maybe watch tv
but it's not fun for me
I wanna see my family
I just hope 2021 is there for me
so I can see my people
