9th Grade at Moses Brown School: Bubonic Plague & Covid

Title

9th Grade at Moses Brown School: Bubonic Plague & Covid

Description

Moses Brown Upper School Humanities teacher Edward Henry tasked his 9th grade world history students to create an expressive piece comparing the student’s own experiences & perspectives of Covid-19 with what they learned about The Black Death in 1300s Europe & North Africa. Students generated a broad range of work connecting the historic pandemic to their own, lived experiences. Collectively and individually, the students knocked their teacher’s socks off.

Presented here is a segment of the work, with student & guardian permission. All work generated during the fall semester of 2022.
