It was watching the world burn from my bedroom, angry masses in the streets setting fire to old ways of life and all the things we have for so long seen as “normal,” had so long thought as normal suffering. I miss hugs and friends, loud laughs in public and conversation over strong drinks. I miss not having to walk out the door and confront my mortality. But I don’t mourn the life that’s falling apart.
