<dcterms:description>There are a number of large old trees in my yard, and while working from home over the past few months I've been able to observe all of the local wildlife more closely. I was never a birdwatcher before, but lately I've been awed by the variety of birds who live here or are passing through. It's a lovely respite from daily stress, or even just all the Zoom meetings, to look up and watch the birds. </dcterms:description>

My fabric stash - usually used for quilts - is now being used to make masks for family, neighbors and friends. It's hard to believe that in 2020, PPE is being made and shared by people using their home sewing machines and 3D printers. </dcterms:description>

My fiancé and I recently moved to Burrillville so it's woodsy and full of critters around our house, including so many beautiful birds. We've already seen some orioles, we put up finch feeders so now we are getting lots of goldfinches, and we're also getting regular visits from a few Eastern Bluebirds like this one. Neither one of us had ever seen one before this!</dcterms:description>

She's part of a group of ducks, geese, swans, pigeons, and seagulls that hang out on the Providence River. Myself and others feed them regularly. I find the female mallards to be the most charming and gentle when eating out of my hand.
